About the Project

In Sri Lanka, 6-8 out of every 1,000 newborns are born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). Since 2018, Save a Kid's Life has been providing free congenital heart defect surgeries to children from indigent families. In addition, we have also been providing training for doctors and nurses in carrying out complex heart defect surgeries.
